    FAQ

Is this kind of signature legally valid?

This is a simple electronic signature — an image of your signature on the document. It's enough for many everyday documents, but it's not a qualified electronic signature backed by a certificate. If the other party requires a qualified signature, use a certificate from an accredited provider.

    Is my signature stored anywhere?

No. The signature exists only in this page's memory while it's open. It's never sent or saved.

    Can I sign several pages?

Yes. Place the signature on every page that needs it — you can add the same signature as many times as you like.

Can I sign with a digital certificate (.p12)?

Yes. Open "Digital certificate", choose a .p12 or .pfx file and enter its password. The document gets a cryptographic signature (PAdES) that shows who signed it and that it hasn't been changed since. The certificate, key and password stay in your browser. Certificates on smart cards (ID cards, tokens) aren't supported yet.
