    Are my files uploaded anywhere?

    No. Merging is done by a JavaScript library inside your browser. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.

    How many files can I merge?

    There is no fixed limit. The only constraint is your device's memory — a few hundred pages is no problem.

    Can I change the order?

    Yes. Drag a file to a new position or use the arrows next to each file. To reorder individual pages, use the Organize pages tool.
