How to merge PDF files on your phone

You don't need a special app or an account. All you need is the browser you already have — Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android.

Step by step

  1. Open LokalPDF in your browser and choose the Merge PDF tool.
  2. Tap "choose from your device". On iPhone the Files app opens, on Android the file manager — select all the PDFs you want to combine.
  3. Put the files in order with the arrows or drag them with your finger.
  4. Tap Merge PDF. The merged file is downloaded — on iPhone to Files → Downloads, on Android to the Download folder.

Why this is safer than other sites

Most PDF merging sites upload your files to their server. LokalPDF merges them inside your phone's browser — the file never leaves the device. That matters when you're merging contracts, statements or medical records.

Add LokalPDF to your home screen (Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen; Chrome: menu → Install app). It then opens like an app and works even without internet.

What if the file is too big?

Merging several scans easily produces a 30–50 MB file. You can pass the result to the Compress PDF tool with one tap — a "Continue with" button appears right after merging.
